The Role:
We are looking for self-sufficient Senior .NET Developers on behalf of our client to join an established, high-performing engineering team building a core live-event management platform. In this role, you will focus on backend logic, transaction-oriented business workflows, and operational software that manages the full lifecycle of booking and hosting venue performers—from initial outreach and scheduling to arrival, live execution, and financial settlement.

What we are looking for:
5+ years of professional backend engineering experience with C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, ASP.NET (MVC / Web API), and SQL Server.
Strong track record of developing forms, state-driven business workflows, and transaction-oriented systems handling critical operational data.
Extensive hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful web services and third-party APIs to connect core backend systems with external tools.
Familiarity and comfort working within traditional, hosted Windows Server environments and IIS architectures without heavy reliance on modern microservices or cloud abstractions.
Ability to quickly ramp up on an existing codebase, respect architectural constraints, and write clean, maintainable code with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Have
Hands-on experience integrating transaction platforms such as Stripe, Clover, Shift4, or similar payment gateways.
Conceptual understanding of ledger entries, expense tracking, payout structures, or general accounting data flows.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or enterprise ERP platforms.
Experience extracting and syncing operational data into centralized data lakes or internal hub environments.
Basic exposure to Azure-compatible tools (though the primary host environment is currently local/on-premise).
Responsibilities:
Build and enhance backend .NET application modules supporting performer booking, operational event tracking, and venue management workflows.
Integrate payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, Clover, Shift4) and build accurate systems to track expenses, payouts, and financial records tied to live events.
Design, construct, and maintain reliable data pipelines connecting internal applications with external APIs and enterprise platforms like Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Support initiatives to feed event, financial, and operational data into the organization's centralized data platform and internal user hubs.
Maintain high code quality, debug complex business logic within an established code base, and ensure high application reliability under real-world operational demands.
