Dooley Advisory works with owners of producer-driven firms (insurance agencies, real estate brokerages, mortgage teams, and accounting and advisory practices) whose growth has stalled. Our entry point is a flat-fee Business Diagnostic: a full review of the firm's pipeline, processes, financials, and marketing, delivered as a written report and a readout session with our founder, Derek Dooley, who built and sold a direct lender.
The role
You find owners who fit and book them onto a fit call with Derek. You do not close; Derek runs every fit call himself. Each setter gets one industry, so you never compete with another rep for the same prospects.
What you will do
Prospect owners in your assigned industry through the one channel you're strongest in: phone, email, LinkedIn, or social messaging
Use our approved scripts and messaging only
Book qualified owners by entering their information through our scheduling form
Keep simple notes on whom you have contacted and where each conversation stands
Compensation (commission only, independent contractor, 1099)
This role has no base pay. You are paid only on results.
$1,500 (20%) for every Business Diagnostic that closes from a call you booked
10% of the first six months of any advisory retainer that follows
Paid on cash collected, net 15
After five of your booked calls close, you can earn the right to close your own leads at 25%
You never pay anything: no fees, no training costs, no required software
Trial
The first 30 days are a trial. Book five qualified fit calls in that window and the seat is yours. Commission applies from day one.
This role fits you if you have
Proven appointment setting or cold outreach experience, with numbers you can share
Confidence talking with business owners
The discipline to work on your own during US business hours
A reliable phone and internet connection
Background in insurance, real estate, mortgage, or accounting (a plus, not required)
This role is not a fit if you need guaranteed income right now.
