Role Description The Office Assistant role at TRIFED is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Office Assistant will handle daily administrative and clerical tasks, including managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and supporting office operations. Responsibilities include maintaining records and files, handling correspondence, operating basic office equipment, and assisting with document preparation and data entry. The role also involves coordinating schedules, supporting internal communication, and ensuring a clean and organized office environment. The Office Assistant will work closely with the local team to support smooth functioning of office activities in line with TRIFED’s mission and policies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage documentation, filing, scheduling, and routine office tasks.
Candidates should possess the ability to operate and maintain basic Office Equipment such as printers, scanners, photocopiers, and telephones.
Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, email, data entry) and familiarity with office procedures.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain a professional, inclusive workplace.
Previous experience in an office support role is preferred; experience in nonprofit or public sector environments is an advantage.
Minimum educational qualification: higher secondary or equivalent; a diploma or degree in office administration or a related field is beneficial.
