Role Description The Quality Control Chemist is a full-time, on-site role based in Uttar Pradesh, India. The role involves conducting routine and non-routine chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The Quality Control Chemist will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, perform calibrations, document test results accurately, and support investigations related to non-conforming products. Daily activities include preparing reagents and standards, following standard operating procedures, maintaining laboratory records, and collaborating with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, housekeeping in the laboratory, and participation in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong Quality Control skills, including testing, validation, and adherence to quality standards and SOPs.
Hands-on Laboratory Skills such as sample preparation, reagent handling, and safe laboratory practices.
Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, troubleshooting results, and using analytical methods (e.g., titration, chromatography, spectroscopy).
Experience with Laboratory Equipment and Calibration, including operation, routine maintenance, and documentation of calibration activities.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Knowledge of ISO, GMP, or similar quality and safety frameworks relevant to chemical manufacturing.
Attention to detail, strong record-keeping abilities, and proficiency in using laboratory software or LIMS.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
