Who will you be working with?
Founded in 1976, SanCasT provides ductile and gray acicular and iron castings. It provides prototyping on-site heat treating and international shipping services.
How will you make a difference?
As a Shipping team member of the SanCasT group, you will be responsible for accurately packaging orders per customer requirements, loading orders on the appropriate vehicle per customer request, unloading of inbound shipments, putting inbound material away for future distribution. Other duties may be assigned as required to meet the needs of the business.
What do we want to know about you?
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in a Shipping role preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Must be able to read and follow all quality process/work instructions.
Must obey all safety rules and wear all proper Personal Protection Equipment
Ability to read and interpret, production schedules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers.
What will your typical day look like?
Performs safe operations
Properly complete all pick slips associated with customer orders
Pack product to order specifications
Maintain contact with vendors and suppliers to ensure proper terms and conditions are met
Utilizing Oracle and ensuring product accuracy
Operating a forklift for the purpose of loading and unloading trucks along with moving material as needed
Accountable for maintaining housekeeping standards in the area
Maintains production and quality standards
Ensuring inventory is accurate and participate in physical inventory
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Be able to read and understand pick slips which dictate order information
Ability to use Oracle and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to operate a forklift
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks
Ability to work independently with high level of attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
Personable, a team player, and ability to relate well to a professional staff and customers
Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication with team members, external clients, and management.

The starting hourly rate for this role is $19 per hour.
