Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City for an Accounts, Audit, Finance, Taxation and Compliance Executive. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, ledger posting, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. The Executive will assist with internal and statutory audits, support tax calculations and filings for direct and indirect taxes, and help ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and compliance requirements. Responsibilities include supporting transaction and due diligence work, maintaining accurate documentation and records, and coordinating with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory authorities. The role also requires regular reporting, monitoring of financial controls, and contributing to process improvements to enhance accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
Strong accounting skills, including bookkeeping, ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
Knowledge of audit processes, internal controls, and support for statutory, tax, and compliance audits.
Understanding of finance and taxation, including direct and indirect tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance procedures.
Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheet tools, and documentation management.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and auditors.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, MBA Finance or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in accounts, audit, finance, taxation, or compliance roles, preferably within consulting or professional services.
Ability to work on-site in Pune City, manage multiple assignments, and meet timelines with integrity and professionalism.
