Software Engineer - Fullstack

Responsibilities:
Full-stack features on the Rezide platform from database schema through API to React UI.
Conversational search interfaces: chat components, streaming result cards, property detail pages.
RESTful APIs and service integrations powering property discovery, listing, and realtor connection flows.
Reusable frontend components in React/Next.js aligned with the design system.
Backend logic for user accounts, property queries, saved searches, and notification flows.
Database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL, with basic indexing and query optimisation.
Unit and integration tests for every feature you ship.
Bug fixes and performance improvements across the stack as the platform grows.
Requirements:
Experience: 2-4 years of professional full-stack development experience.
Frontend: Strong React and Next.js ; you can build a responsive, accessible UI from a Figma file without guidance.
Backend: Solid Node.js backend skills: API design, middleware, authentication, error handling, rate limiting.
Database: Comfortable writing and optimising SQL queries in PostgreSQL.
Systems: Understands the full request lifecycle: browser through API to database and back.
Quality: Writes clean, tested, reviewed code; does not cut corners on quality to meet a deadline.
Process: Familiar with Git branching workflows and pull request reviews in a team environment.
Ownership: Can take a ticket from backlog to production with minimal hand-holding.
Tech Stack:
Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS.
Backend: Node.js (Express or Fastify), REST APIs.
Database: PostgreSQL, Redis.
Cloud: AWS or GCP S3 Lambda, EC2 familiarity expected.
Tooling: Git, GitHub Actions, Docker.
AI integration: LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) consumed, not built from scratch.

Experience
2-5 yrs
