We are looking for an experienced Adobe AEM DAM and Workfront Consultant with strong expertise in Digital Asset Management (DAM), AEM Assets, Adobe Workfront, taxonomy, metadata governance, and content supply chain workflows. The consultant will be responsible for designing and enhancing DAM operating models, content lifecycle processes, AEM Assets structures, and Workfront workflows to enable scalable and efficient content operations.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Content Supply Chain Design:
Design end-to-end content supply chain workflows covering intake, briefing, creation, review, approval, publishing, reuse, and archival.
Define content lifecycle standards for asset creation, reuse, archival, and retention.
Establish scalable content reuse frameworks for omnichannel delivery.
DAM Strategy and Implementation:
Design and enhance AEM Assets/DAM structures, including taxonomy, folder structures, and metadata schemas.
Define metadata inheritance and tagging strategies to improve asset discoverability.
Configure the brand portal and asset distribution workflows.
Define naming conventions, asset versioning, lifecycle states, permissions, and user roles.
Taxonomy and Metadata Governance:
Develop enterprise-wide taxonomy and metadata frameworks aligned with business requirements.
Define mandatory metadata fields and metadata standards.
Establish governance processes for taxonomy maintenance and evolution.
Improve content discoverability, reuse, and performance tracking through structured tagging.
Workfront Workflow Design:
Configure Adobe Workfront workflows for intake and request management, brief creation, approvals, review cycles, handoffs, workflow tracking, and reporting.
Optimize workflows to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time, visibility, and compliance.
Integration and Solution Architecture:
Design integrations between AEM Assets, Workfront, Brand Portal, and other content lifecycle systems.
Ensure seamless data flow and metadata synchronization.
Design workflow orchestration across platforms.
Define scalable integration architecture using APIs and connectors.
Governance and Operating Model:
Define DAM and content supply chain governance frameworks.
Establish roles and responsibilities (RACI), approval processes, and escalation models.
Develop content operations processes and operating models.
Define access models, user groups, and permission matrices.
Roadmap and Transformation:
Develop DAM and Content Supply Chain transformation roadmaps.
Identify opportunities for capability enhancement, automation, and process optimization.
Provide recommendations for scalable and sustainable DAM operations.
Requirements:
Key Skills: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Assets / DAM), Adobe Workfront, DAM Operating Model and Governance, DAM Lifecycle Management, Taxonomy Framework, Metadata Models and Metadata Schema, Adobe Brand Portal, Workfront Workflow Design and Configuration, Content Supply Chain, Content Lifecycle Management, AEM-Workfront Integration, APIs / Connectors, Access Control and Permission Management.
6-8 years of relevant experience in Adobe DAM/AEM Assets and Workfront.
Strong hands-on experience with AEM Assets/DAM and Adobe Workfront.
Experience designing DAM governance, taxonomy, metadata models, and content lifecycle processes.
Strong understanding of Workfront workflow design and configuration.
Experience with Brand Portal setup/configuration.
Exposure to AEM-Workfront integrations, APIs, or connectors.
Strong consulting, solution design, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Preferred Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have a consulting/solution-design mindset with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable DAM, content supply chain, and Workfront solutions.
