UI / UX Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our product team and take ownership of the user experience and frontend design of ProofHub, our SaaS-based project management and collaboration platform.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user behavior, responsive design, and modern web interfaces, along with hands-on knowledge of HTML and CSS. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design intuitive, functional, and visually consistent experiences across ProofHub.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys not just creating attractive designs but also understanding how a product works, how users interact with it, and how a design translates into a live web application.
Responsibilities:
Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces for ProofHub's web application.
Own the UI/UX and frontend design of product features, screens, workflows, and enhancements.
Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs based on product requirements.
Understand user requirements and translate them into simple, effective, and engaging user experiences.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
Design responsive interfaces that provide a consistent experience across desktop, tablet, and different screen sizes.
Maintain consistency in layouts, typography, spacing, colors, components, and overall visual language across the product.
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
Have a practical understanding of HTML and CSS to create, understand, and communicate frontend layouts and design requirements.
Create and maintain design specifications, reusable components, and design guidelines where required.
Stay updated with current UI/UX trends, SaaS product design practices, and evolving web design standards.
Requirements:
1-2 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX or product design, preferably with experience working on web/SaaS products.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and design fundamentals.
A good working knowledge of HTML and CSS is required.
Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
Understanding of responsive and adaptive web design.
Knowledge of typography, color theory, layouts, grids, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs.
Understanding of usability and user-centered design principles.
Ability to work with developers and understand technical limitations while designing solutions.
Attention to detail and consistency.
Experience working on live products rather than only conceptual or portfolio projects.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have:
Experience designing B2B SaaS, productivity, project management, or collaboration products.
Basic understanding of JavaScript or frontend frameworks.
Experience working with design systems and reusable UI components.
Understanding of accessibility and WCAG guidelines.
Experience conducting basic user research, usability testing, or gathering user feedback.
