Content Team Lead

Job Purpose
The Content Team Lead will be responsible for building, leading, and scaling LoansJagat’s content function to drive brand awareness, organic growth, customer engagement, and business impact.
The role focuses on creating a strong, performance-driven content ecosystem that simplifies complex financial topics and delivers high-quality, SEO-optimized content across all digital platforms.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in content strategy, team leadership, SEO, editing, and digital content management, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple, clear, and customer-friendly content. The candidate will ensure that every piece of content contributes to brand visibility, organic growth, customer engagement, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers, editors, and freelancers.
Develop and execute a scalable content strategy aligned with brand, SEO, marketing, and business objectives.
Plan, assign, review, and optimize content across blogs, websites, landing pages, product pages, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, SEO-optimized, and aligned with the LoansJagat brand voice.
Collaborate closely with SEO, Marketing, Product, Design, and Business teams to deliver impactful content campaigns.
Own and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely execution of all content initiatives.
Conduct quality checks for grammar, tone, readability, factual accuracy, and brand consistency.
Monitor content performance and use analytics and SEO insights to improve traffic, engagement, rankings, and conversions.
Conduct competitor and industry research to identify new content opportunities and growth areas.
Stay updated on SEO trends, search behavior, fintech developments, and content best practices.
Build efficient content workflows to improve team productivity, quality, and turnaround time.
Drive continuous improvement in content processes, standards, and output quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in content writing, editing, content strategy, or digital content.
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, search intent, and content marketing.
Experience creating content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and digital marketing campaigns.
Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Analytics/Search Console, SEO tools, and AI-assisted content tools.
Prior experience in Fintech, BFSI, lending, personal finance, or financial services will be an added advantage.
