Position Description: As a German or French teacher at AMOIBC.CA, you will be responsible for conducting online classes for students at various proficiency levels, ranging from beginner to advanced. Your daily tasks will include lesson planning, preparing digital teaching materials, and assessing student progress through assignments, projects, and tests. You will maintain constant communication with students, provide personalized feedback, and adapt course content to meet their specific needs and interests. You will also participate in pedagogical meetings and coordination activities aimed at improving our educational programs. This is a part-time, remote position.
Requirements:
Skills in lesson planning and the design of instructional activities.
Education and experience in the field of education and language teaching, preferably involving German or French.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and engagingly.
Advanced or native proficiency in German or French, along with strong command of digital tools for online teaching (video conferencing platforms, LMS, interactive resources).
Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, collaborate with other team members, and maintain an inclusive and respectful approach toward student diversity.
