Strategy Manager (f/m/x)

Hi, I'm Marius Turbatu, and I'm looking for a Strategy Manager to join the Corporate Development function. We built eSky Group’s strategy infrastructure over the past years and we’re ready to scale it up. This is a dedicated ownership role: you take full responsibility for the recurring strategy infrastructure — the long term and annual planning cycles, the long-range financial models, the Board materials cadence, and the planning-execution alignment architecture.
What you'll own
The annual strategy cycle. You take it over, scale it and run it end-to-end — timeline, templates, business unit inputs, strategic assessments, synthesis — and co-author the Group strategy narrative and supporting materials for the Corporate Development Director, key business stakeholders, the CEO, and the Supervisory Board.
The long-range financial models. A 3 5 year multi-scenario profit-and-loss model that you build and maintain yourself, updated at least annually and whenever material strategic events require it.
Board and Senior Leadership materials. First drafts of all strategy-related board decks, with a consistent structure and narrative continuity so the equity story compounds cycle over cycle instead of being rebuilt from scratch.
Market intelligence. Live battle cards for our focus markets and the competitive landscapes that matter, built together with our market intelligence function and aligned with key business stakeholders.
Strategic project support. Analytical and narrative backing for Corporate Development workstreams — mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, build-partner-buy assessments — including the strategic rationale documentation that ties market sizing and fit back into the long-range models.
The corporate performance rhythm. The quarterly strategic review pack for the Board and Senior Leadership, the board-visible scorecard, and early flags when execution is drifting from strategic intent.
Your background and expertiseMust-have:
A strategy consulting foundation — a top-tier firm (MBB, Big 4 Strategy, or an equivalent boutique) plus time spent in-house afterward, working as part of an internal strategy function inside a company. Consulting experience alone isn't enough for this role; we need someone who has already made the shift from advising to owning outcomes inside an organisation
Genuine long-range financial modelling ability — you build and own multi-scenario models, not just update someone else's
Board-level writing — structured, opinionated, evidence-built arguments
Track record of operating independently with senior stakeholders
Professional working English
Bonus points, not a dealbreaker:
Travel technology or an adjacent sector — online travel agencies, hospitality technology, mobility, fintech
Real, structural experience with objectives-and-key-results frameworks
Polish language
Exposure to mergers-and-acquisitions processes on the strategic rationale or deck side
Why this role
You'll work across the full range of what strategy actually requires — building and owning the long-range model, writing the materials that go in front of the senior leadership, and making sure business units stay aligned to where the Group is actually heading and our corporate strategy layer. You'll have real ownership of that outcome, with the space to shape how it's planned and delivered as the function grows.
