ABOUT THE ROLE
Prompt.io is looking for a driven, relationship-oriented Sales Director to grow our customer base across the political, advocacy, association, and nonprofit landscape. You’ll own the sales process from prospecting through close—building relationships, understanding customer needs, demonstrating the value of Prompt.io, and consistently delivering against booking goals.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating new business, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-moving, remote environment. Experience in politics, advocacy, or texting programs is a strong plus, as is an existing network within the political and advocacy consulting community.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Outbound prospect new clients and keep up-to-date records in sales CRM
Draft proposals, execute demos, and use available materials to educate potential customers
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue goals
Some travel may be required.
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at conferences and events
Provide relevant prospect and customer feedback to manager for product and process improvements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Having experience in politics, advocacy, associations, or labor organizations is highly valued.
Sales experience is desired but not required.
Texting experience is a huge plus - this includes running texting programs
Existing network within the political and/or advocacy consultant community

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $60,000–$100,000 Base + Commission. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
