Production Associate 4 (Forklift Driver) 1st Shift

Starting Pay : $20.00 to $25.00
1st Shift Monday - Friday : 6:45am – 3:15pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Forklift Operator is responsible to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products. The employee will be trained to use crane, sweeper machine and will help working in the compactor area.
Provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products
Responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business
Operate Forklift.
Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
Perform cycle counts as required
Will cover and work in different areas of the receiving department (crane, sweeper machine, compactors).
Identify safety hazards in the workplace
Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
perform area maintenance as needed.
A minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience or combination of forklift experience and material handling work highly preferred
Experience in Stand-up Order Picker Forklift
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
Ability to walk/stand for long durations (duration of shift excluding breaks).
Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color and depth differentiation
Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation
Ability to perform specific tasks that involve climbing and kneeling
Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process
Frequent exposure to loud noises
No FEAR of elevated heights
Ability to read and write in English (Numbers, Locations, short words and phrases)
