Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Mission Critical Data Centers

Up to $250,000 base + bonus + benefits
We're partnering with a leading owner representation firm to find a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the planning and design of advanced electrical systems for large-scale, mission-critical data center infrastructure. This is a high-impact role within the A/E industry, working across some of the most complex and fast-moving critical infrastructure projects in the market today.
What you'll do
Lead electrical design from concept through commissioning on large-scale data center and mission-critical projects
Design and specify high and medium voltage systems, applying fault-tolerant principles (N, N+1, 2N) to deliver high-uptime environments
Develop one-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, arc flash studies, and short circuit analyses
Manage submittals and RFIs, and resolve complex electrical design challenges as they arise
Establish and maintain consistent design standards across projects and teams
Act as a technical authority, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary project teams
What you'll bring
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Proven experience designing high/medium voltage systems for mission-critical or data center environments
Deep understanding of fault-tolerant design principles and redundancy configurations (N, N+1, 2N)
Strong command of the full electrical design deliverable set — one-lines, load calcs, arc flash, short circuit, panel schedules
Comfort working within an A/E or owner's-engineer environment, balancing design rigor with commercial and schedule pressures
