Role Description The VLSI Design Verification role at Cranes Varsity is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves developing and executing verification plans, writing test benches, and creating test cases to validate complex digital designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing design specifications, collaborating with design and architecture teams, reviewing documentation, and identifying functional issues and corner cases. The professional in this role will use industry-standard tools and methodologies to perform simulation, debug failures, and generate verification reports. The position also includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable VLSI solutions and supporting continuous improvement of verification processes.
Qualifications
Strong architecture and design understanding, including experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools relevant to VLSI design and verification.
Ability to conduct thorough technical Research to analyze specifications, standards, and emerging verification methodologies.
Graphics and Graphic Design skills for creating clear technical diagrams, block-level representations, and visual documentation of verification flows.
Solid foundation in digital electronics, VLSI design principles, and hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL).
Experience with verification environments, simulation tools, and debugging techniques; familiarity with UVM or similar frameworks is an advantage.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment on-site.
