Application Tester

Sierra7 is looking for an Application Tester to help ensure enterprise applications are reliable, secure, and ready for deployment. You’ll play a key role in testing software, uncovering issues, and partnering with developers and packaging teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Test Windows applications, software packages, and deployments for functionality, compatibility, and performance.
Create and execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects.
Work with Admin Studio, Flexera, SCCM, App-V, MSIX, MSI, and MST transforms.
Test applications using PowerShell and VBScript.
Analyze logs, configurations, drivers, and performance issues.
Test integrations with Power Apps, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
Collaborate with engineers, developers, and packaging teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Support enterprise deployment, patch management, and baseline configuration.
Contribute to technical documentation and Agile delivery teams.
💡 What You Bring
3+ years of application testing, QA, or related IT experience.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience testing Windows client applications and enterprise software.
Knowledge of application packaging and defect management tools.
Experience with PowerShell and/or VBScript.
Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Experience with automated testing tools.
Microsoft or application packaging certifications.
Experience with Power Apps, SharePoint, or ServiceNow.
