Legal Intake Specialist

We are a fast-growing Social Security Disability law firm looking for a strong legal intake specialist to help turn warm inbound leads into signed cases.
You’ll speak with people who have already requested help with their disability claim. Your job is to follow our structured intake process, qualify prospects, identify the key facts of their situation, build trust, and help the right prospects move forward.
This is not a generic VA role. This is a phone-heavy intake and sales role for someone who can communicate clearly, follow a process, and perform under pressure.
Legal Intake Experience Preferred
Experience in legal intake, disability, personal injury, medical intake, insurance, healthcare, collections, appointment setting, or phone sales is a plus.
Social Security Disability experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the process.
Strict English & Communication Standards:
Our callers are primarily older Americans dealing with serious health and financial challenges, so excellent conversational English is required.
Requirements:
-Near-fluent English is required
-Must sound natural to a US-based audience
-Strong pronunciation and excellent grammar
-Ability to match tone, empathy, and pacing to the prospect
-Stay conversational under pressure
-Able to handle skeptical or frustrated callers
-Strong listening and note-taking ability
-Comfortable asking direct qualification questions
-Able to follow a structured legal intake script
Candidates who sound natural and easy to understand for a US-based audience will be prioritized.
A slight accent is completely fine, but English must be clear, conversational, and near-fluent. If not, this role will not be a good fit.

Availability and staffing:
-Consistent 8-hour shifts are expected
-Active dialing is expected during shifts
-Speed-to-lead is critical
-Current shifts: 9am to 5pm EST, 2pm to 10pm EST M-F
-Saturdays 10am-4pm EST may also be available
Daily Responsibilities:
-Call warm inbound prospects using our power dialer
-Follow our Social Security Disability intake script
-Qualify prospects based on case criteria
-Identify key facts, pain points, and urgency
-Build value and handle objections
-Help qualified prospects complete the next step toward representation
-Hit daily activity and performance targets
Compensation:
On-target earnings typically range from $1,200 to $2,100 USD per month
Sliding scale performance bonuses paid at the end of the month through Upwork
Fully remote
Stable hourly pay + performance bonuses
Paid training
Training & Standards:
-Structured, intensive paid training
-Requires hundreds of out-loud repetitions
-Daily role plays before speaking with live prospects
-Follow the script and process exactly as is during training
-Emphasis on script delivery, call structure, qualification, empathy, and tonality
-Most reps sign their first case within ~2 weeks
