Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you¿ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate and quality care to our patients. Working under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you¿ll perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your contributions ensure smooth and efficient operations, enhancing the patient experience and supporting our healthcare team.

What You Will Do
Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.
Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
Perform administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the clinical environment.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five years, OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical medical assisting, OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years, OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years.
Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
