Traveling Construction Superintendent

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead field operations across a variety of commercial construction projects nationwide. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and partnering closely with project managers, clients, and design teams. This position requires a high level of ownership, leadership, and flexibility, along with the ability to travel frequently to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
Maintain and enforce project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones
Monitor project budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs
Ensure full compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans/specifications
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to resolve issues proactively
Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and project documentation
Drive a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork on-site
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
Proven experience managing ground-up and/or renovation projects
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
In-depth understanding of OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (projects may be nationwide)
