Production Engineer

The company’s product range includes mechanical and manual screens, grit mechanisms, sluice gates (automatic and manual, MS/SS), SBR decanters, sludge thickeners, mixers, and agitators. It also produces clariflocculators, flash mixers, clarifiers, aerators, screw presses, and oil separators used across industrial and municipal treatment facilities. Role Description The Production Engineer will oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities for water and sewage treatment mechanical equipment at the Ahmedabad facility. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring production schedules, coordinating with design and procurement teams, and ensuring timely completion of orders in line with quality and safety standards. The role involves analyzing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, implementing improvements, and maintaining documentation related to production, quality, and maintenance. The Production Engineer will collaborate with shop floor staff and management to resolve technical issues, support installation readiness, and optimize resource utilization. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with the ability to manage manufacturing processes and equipment-specific requirements.
Analytical skills to interpret production data, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvement initiatives.
Experience in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Knowledge of Quality Control practices, standards, and inspection methods relevant to mechanical fabrication and assembly.
Effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and shop floor personnel.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment equipment manufacturing is an advantage.
Proficiency in basic CAD tools and MS Office for documentation and reporting is desirable.
Understanding of industrial safety practices and adherence to regulatory and company guidelines.
