Role Description The Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees daily operations of designated restaurants, bars, or banquet areas to ensure smooth and efficient service. This full-time, on-site role is based in Delhi, India, and involves supervising service teams, coordinating shift schedules, and monitoring adherence to brand service standards. The supervisor supports menu implementation, ensures food and beverage quality, manages table setups, and handles guest queries or complaints in a professional manner. The role includes training and coaching team members, working closely with the kitchen and front office, and maintaining hygiene, safety, and legal compliance at all times. The Food and Beverage Supervisor also assists with inventory control, reporting, and contributing to initiatives that improve guest satisfaction and revenue.
Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills with experience leading, motivating, and developing food and beverage service teams.
Knowledge of service standards and hotel operating procedures, with the ability to maintain consistent quality and compliance.
Hands-on experience in food service operations, including restaurant, bar, or banquet service.
Customer service orientation with a focus on handling guest interactions, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment; five-star or luxury segment experience is an advantage.
Understanding of basic hygiene, safety, and food handling standards and regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
