Software Development Engineer In Test

As an Software Development Engineer in Test you will have strong test automation skills, working closely alongside the development team to create robust test journeys validating the quality of our products before they are deployed to production. They will be responsible for creating automation tests for changes, updates and enhancements to existing products, making sure our security position is maintained.
This is a hybrid, Nottingham based role (40% office based) reporting to a Development Consultant.
Experience with automation testing & understanding of object -oriented programming languages and process management methodology.
Preparing and executing manual and automation scripts using modern frameworks like Selenium/PlayWright/Cypress/REST-Assured etc.
Management of in-house testing tools like JIRA/Azure Dev-ops/Quality Centre and associated source code to build integration with those tools and automation.
Production of test harnesses through the knowledge of the best language to use and the ability to implement the solution in the CI CD pipeline.
Develop, maintain, and execute test suites like Smoke/Sanity/Regression in accordance to business requirements.
Perform various types of testing including:
White Box testing
Black Box testing
End to End/Integration testing
Performance testing
UI testing
Security testing
