Role Description The Telemarketer role at GCQ360 is a full-time, on-site position based in Mysore. The Telemarketer will make outbound calls to prospective students and professionals, introduce GCQ360’s study abroad and training services, and generate interest in available programs. Daily responsibilities include handling inbound inquiries, providing clear and accurate information about offerings, and scheduling appointments or follow-up calls for consulting sessions. The role involves maintaining detailed call records, updating the CRM system, and meeting individual and team targets related to qualified leads and conversions. The Telemarketer will collaborate closely with the counseling and sales teams to ensure a smooth handover of leads and a positive experience for all prospective clients.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to build rapport, understand client needs, and engage diverse audiences professionally.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond to inquiries courteously, manage concerns, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Candidates should possess Sales skills to identify opportunities, present services persuasively, and support lead conversion and enrollment goals.
Candidates should possess Appointment Scheduling skills to organize calls, book consultations, and coordinate follow-ups efficiently.
Candidates should ideally have experience in telemarketing, call center operations, or education consulting, along with basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM tools.
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Mysore, follow structured scripts while adapting to individual caller needs, and meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
