Project Details:
Large-scale UKG Pro rollout programme requiring a hands-on Test Analyst to support testing activities.
The consultant will work alongside the internal project team and System Integrator, reviewing test scripts, executing tests, troubleshooting failures and identifying the root cause of defects.
This is not a Test Manager position. The requirement is for a hands-on tester who can work across both functional and technical testing and has the experience to challenge the SI where necessary.
The successful candidate will need to understand whether a failed test is genuinely a system/configuration issue, an integration/data issue, an incorrect expected result or an issue with the test script itself.
Musts:
Strong hands-on UKG Pro experience.
Proven experience as a Test Analyst / Test Consultant / QA Analyst.
Experience executing functional and technical test scripts.
Experience reviewing and validating test scripts.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Ability to understand why a test has failed, not simply record the failure.
Experience identifying whether issues relate to configuration, integrations, data, defects or the test itself.
Experience working with and challenging a System Integrator / implementation partner.
Strong understanding of HR, Payroll and/or WFM processes.
Comfortable working independently and getting into the detail of the system.
Strong defect management and retesting experience.
Pluses:
UKG Pro implementation / rollout experience.
Global UKG Pro implementation experience.
UKG Time & Attendance / WFM experience.
Payroll testing experience.
Experience testing UKG integrations/interfaces.
Understanding of APIs, integrations, data mapping or data flows.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Previous experience on large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
Experience working across both functional andtechnical testing.
