Role Description The Vice President of Technology Innovation is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s technology vision in alignment with business and regulatory requirements. This role leads the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative technology solutions that enhance wealth management services, operational efficiency, and client experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing strategic technology initiatives, collaborating with executive leadership and business units, managing cross-functional IT projects, and ensuring secure, compliant systems. The VP will monitor emerging technologies and fintech trends, build roadmaps for digital transformation, and guide vendor selection and partnerships. The role also includes mentoring technology teams, setting performance goals, and establishing best practices for governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, assess technology performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Expertise in Information Technology and IT Strategy to design scalable, secure, and innovative solutions aligned with business goals.
Proven Project Management experience to lead multi-stakeholder technology initiatives from concept through implementation.
Advanced Strategic Planning capabilities to develop long-term digital transformation roadmaps and align technology investments with corporate objectives.
Extensive experience in financial services, wealth management, or asset management, with solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to manage distributed teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience with cybersecurity, data governance, and cloud-based architectures is highly beneficial.
