Veterinary Technician

What You’ll Do
As a Veterinarian Technician, you’ll support our doctors and veterinary team throughout the patient care process. Responsibilities may include:
Safely restraining veterinary patients using low-stress handling techniques
Triaging incoming patients and supporting efficient hospital flow
Collecting and processing blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples
Setting up and processing laboratory tests
Obtaining accurate medical histories and maintaining veterinary medical records
Assisting with diagnostic imaging and positioning patients for radiographs
Dental radiograph experience is a plus
Providing nursing care and monitoring hospitalized veterinary patients
Administering medications as directed by the veterinary team
Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with veterinary surgical procedures
Monitoring patients during anesthesia and recovery
Communicating treatment plans and care instructions clearly with clients
Supporting veterinarians and other veterinary team members in providing compassionate patient care
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Veterinarian Technician who brings a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine passion for veterinary medicine. You’ll be a great fit if you’re dependable, communicate well, enjoy working as part of a team, and are eager to keep learning.
Ideal candidates will have:
At least 1 year of veterinary experience preferred
CVT, RVT, or LVT credentials are a plus
Weekend availability
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of preventive care, surgical procedures, and veterinary hospital flow
Strong animal restraint and low-stress handling skills
Experience with laboratory sample collection and processing
Experience positioning and capturing radiographs
Anesthesia and surgical monitoring experience
Accurate medical record documentation skills
A self-starter mindset and desire to advance your veterinary knowledge and skillset
The ability to receive and apply constructive feedback professionally
