Plant Operator

FLINT is seeking a Plant Operator with Sulphur forming facility experience for a 3 month contract in Didsbury, AB starting as soon as possible. In this position, you will enjoy a schedule with 12 hour work days and benefits after 300+ hours worked.
This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.
Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Plant Operator in Sulphur forming facilities.
Minimum 4th class power engineering certificate is required
Possess extensive knowledge of all facets of gas plant operations.
Ability to monitor and maintain various plant equipment, record testing outcomes, report equipment issues, and oversee production process while improving the plant facility’s efficiency, quality, and safety.

Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Must have own reliable transportation to site.
Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.
