Role Description The Business Development Manager (B.Arch) is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in residential architecture and interiors, including lead generation, client outreach, and relationship management. Day-to-day tasks include meeting prospective clients, presenting design and service offerings, preparing proposals and estimates in coordination with the design team, and following up to close projects. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure client requirements are accurately captured and translated into workable design and execution plans. The role also involves monitoring market trends, participating in local networking events, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, and reporting regularly on sales performance and business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution and strong understanding of residential design and interior concepts.
Experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within architecture, interiors, real estate, or related sectors.
Ability to conduct client needs assessments, prepare persuasive proposals, and present design solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Comfort working on-site in Vijayawada, visiting project locations, and coordinating with design and execution teams.
Basic proficiency with architectural drawings and design terminology to bridge communication between clients and the design team.
Solid organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining a structured sales pipeline and timely follow-ups.
Proficiency in productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
Prior experience in residential projects, interiors, or turnkey solutions in the Vijayawada region or similar markets is highly desirable.
