Role Description The Finance Manager role at Tulip Inn Bidar is a full-time, on-site position based in Bidar. The Finance Manager oversees day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and monitoring of cash flow. This role prepares and reviews financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and periodic management reports to support decision-making and ensure the hotel meets its financial targets. The Finance Manager manages accounts payable and receivable, coordinates banking activities, and ensures timely payroll and vendor payments. The role also involves implementing internal controls, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, and collaborating with department heads to optimize costs and revenue. The Finance Manager provides financial analysis on room sales, F&B, and other revenue streams to improve profitability and supports the General Manager with strategic financial planning.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly.
Experience in cost control, cash flow management, and revenue analysis, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.
Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and hotel management or property management systems.
Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to lead and develop a small finance team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role, preferably in hotels or hospitality.
