Role Description The manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Vasai, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring accurate, efficient movement of goods. This role manages receiving, storage, and dispatch activities; monitors stock levels; and ensures inventory records are updated and reconciled. The manager assigns and jointly coordinates in tasks, implements safety and housekeeping standards throughout the facility. The role includes coordinating with procurement, and logistics to meet delivery timelines, optimize space utilization, and reduce stock discrepancies. The manager also tracks key performance metrics, supports process improvements, and ensures compliance with company policies and relevant regulations along with complete and thorough paper work. The manager assists in timely filing of multiple accounting aspects on business such as TDS, Advance tax, GST compliance with accounting team, proper E-Way bill and E-Invoice generation, proper maintainance of records etc.
Qualifications
Strong stock control and inventory control skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and minimize variances.
Experience in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and managing reorder processes.
Background in operations management, with capability to plan workflows, allocate resources, and improve warehouse efficiency.
Relevant experience in warehouse supervision or management, preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or distribution.
Ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and focus on safety and compliance.
Familiarity with billing software is a must.
Minimum of a high school diploma; additional vocational or logistics-related qualifications are an asset.
