Role Description The Kitchen Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting kitchen units, appliances, and related materials to customers and installation sites in a safe and timely manner. This temporary, remote role involves receiving delivery schedules, planning routes, and coordinating with dispatch and customers using phone or digital communication tools. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading goods, securing items for transport, inspecting vehicles and equipment, and maintaining accurate delivery records. The driver is expected to provide courteous customer service at delivery locations, follow all safety and handling procedures, and comply with company policies and relevant transport regulations.
Qualifications
Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication and professional interaction with clients.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience operating delivery vehicles.
Drivers must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes
Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules.
Good physical fitness and capability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre kitchen units and related materials safely.
Basic digital skills for using mobile devices, navigation tools, and delivery management applications.
