Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with deep expertise in Sage Intacct to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of our month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate is a system-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at streamlining financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close: Lead and execute the full-cycle month-end and year-end closing processes.
System Management: Utilize Sage Intacct to manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Reconciliations: Perform complex bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee or support AP and AR functions within Intacct to ensure proper coding and matching.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, automate manual tasks, and shorten the close cycle within Sage Intacct.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation and schedules to support internal and external annual audits.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Software Expertise: Hands-on, proficient experience with Sage Intacct is strictly required.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), and experience with month-end close checklists.
Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines independently.
What We Offer
Competitive salary ($72,800 - $124,000 annually)
