Role Description The VP of Leadership Development is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and executing the magazine’s leadership development vision and strategy. This role oversees the design and delivery of programs, workshops, and initiatives that support the growth of current and aspiring leaders within the Enlight community and partner organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting needs analyses, consulting with internal teams and external stakeholders, and aligning leadership content with the magazine’s editorial and brand direction. The VP collaborates closely with editorial, marketing, and partnerships teams to integrate leadership development themes into events, digital content, and community offerings. This leader also establishes succession planning frameworks, measures program effectiveness, and continuously refines development offerings to ensure impact and scalability.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Leadership Development, including designing and implementing leadership programs and initiatives.
Strong skills in Needs Analysis and Consulting to assess gaps, define objectives, and advise stakeholders on effective development strategies.
Experience in Training design and facilitation, including workshops, coaching frameworks, and learning experiences for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in Succession Planning, with the ability to build pathways for emerging leaders and structure long-term talent development.
Proven strategic thinking, program management, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across remote, cross-functional teams.
Background in leadership, organizational development, HR, coaching, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience working with or within mission-driven organizations, media, or community-focused initiatives is beneficial.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, equitable leadership practices and creating supportive environments for diverse leaders.
