We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Business Analyst
In This Role, You Will
The Responsible AI point person for Technology, providing oversight to ensure initiatives are safe, compliant, and meet organisational and regulatory expectations.
A connector between Technology delivery and Group AI Governance, ensuring the right approvals, controls, and assurance steps are embedded into delivery.
The operator of the Technology AI Council, managing intake, triage, prioritisation, de-duplication, decision logging, and escalation paths.
The owner of the Technology/GCOO AI use-case inventory and reporting, improving transparency, quality of data, and leadership-level status/risk packs.
A process and operating model designer, mapping current/future state and implementing pragmatic workflows, templates, and governance checkpoints.
A portfolio manager for AI use cases, tracking dependencies, delivery progress, benefits, and risks across the pipeline.
A vendor and stakeholder coordinator, aligning onboarding, training, and adoption plans to ensure consistent end-user experience and measurable outcomes.
A strategic partner to domain leads, shaping a sustainable AI use-case strategy that balances developer acceleration goals with responsible delivery.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Be rock-solid on Responsible AI governance: translate Group standards into practical “how we build” guardrails for Technology teams (clear do’s/don’ts, required artefacts, stage gates).
Build strong partnerships with control functions (Risk, Compliance, Controls, Audit, Group AI Governance): get early alignment on approvals/assurance so delivery doesn’t stall late in the lifecycle.
Run the Technology AI Council like a high-performing engine: crisp agenda, pre-reads that drive decisions, structured triage, clear outcomes, and zero ambiguity on owners/dates.
Create a trusted, single source of truth for AI use cases: an accurate inventory with consistent metadata (value, risk tier, data classification, model type, vendor/tooling, stage, approvals, issues).
Use metrics that leaders can act on: move beyond counts to decision-grade reporting (risk hotspots, throughput, cycle time for approvals, adoption/usage, benefits realisation, duplication avoided).
Design operating models that teams actually follow: define roles, handoffs, and governance checkpoints that are lightweight but effective (RACI, workflow, templates, “minimum evidence”).
Balance value, feasibility, and risk in prioritisation: implement a transparent scoring model and dependency view so the portfolio is defensible and aligned to Tech strategy.
Drive adoption with vendors and internal leads: structured onboarding/training, communications, champions network, and measurable uptake (activation, retention, satisfaction, productivity signals).
