Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned capital projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery while meeting customer and business requirements.
Provide leadership for planning, development, and tracking of the annual capital spending plan for the assigned site.
Integrate cost reduction initiatives and best project management practices into all capital projects.
Ensure compliance with Global Engineering standards, policies, procedures, and FDA regulations for facility, process, and equipment design.
Provide engineering input into long-range planning for key products, processes, and manufacturing initiatives.
Identify skill gaps within the project management team and develop recruitment or training plans to address them.
Collaborate with procurement on capital equipment orders, including techno-commercial bid analysis and recommendations.
Manage Capex cash flow, monitor spending and forecasts, and prepare monthly reporting, annual operating plans, and long-range capital project plans.
Finalize Capital Expenditure Requests (CER) and obtain Global approvals for project execution.
Implement and enforce all safety guidelines and EHS compliance requirements across the department and contractor operations, including HR compliance.
Ensure local and global EHS KPIs are met and conduct Safety GEMBA walks.
Maintain Emergency Response Team (ERT) and first aid readiness, participate in risk assessments, and implement recommendations.
Qualifications
Experience Required: Minimum 12 Years in Pharma API
Key Skills: Good understanding of Project procedures, Understanding of GMP.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Chemical)
