Role Description The VP of Leadership Development is a full-time, remote position responsible for designing and overseeing leadership development initiatives for members and partners of Women in Cyber Leadership Corp. This role leads the creation of programs, frameworks, and curricula that strengthen leadership capabilities across the cybersecurity community, with a focus on women and gender-diverse leaders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting needs analyses to identify capability gaps, developing succession planning strategies, and consulting with internal and external stakeholders on leadership pathways and program design. The VP will coordinate training and coaching sessions, manage program evaluation and continuous improvement, and collaborate with communications and events teams to promote leadership offerings. The role also involves building strategic partnerships with organizations and experts in cybersecurity and leadership, and ensuring all initiatives align with the organization’s mission, values, and inclusive culture.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Leadership Development, including designing and implementing leadership programs and frameworks.
Strong skills in Needs Analysis and Consulting to assess organizational and community leadership requirements and recommend effective solutions.
Experience planning, delivering, and evaluating Training initiatives, such as workshops, coaching, and mentorship programs.
Proficiency in Succession Planning, including identifying high-potential talent and mapping leadership pathways.
Proven experience in cybersecurity, technology, or related fields, or the ability to quickly gain domain knowledge.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed environment.
Track record of advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly in leadership and technical communities.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., coaching, leadership development) are a plus.
