CG Tech Labs builds and supports business-critical software through experienced engineering teams. For this engagement, you will join a Microsoft business-applications team that delivers Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure solutions for multiple customers.
We are looking for a Power Platform & Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain the deployment pipelines and cloud automation behind these solutions. The goal is to standardise how Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure changes move from development through TEST and UAT to production.
This is a hands-on engineering role. It suits someone who writes and troubleshoots automation themselves, turns technical and operational requirements into reusable, secure pipelines, and can explain their decisions to consultants, developers and infrastructure specialists.
Your role with us
Build reusable Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
Automate Azure infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (Bicep and/or Terraform).
Help consultants and engineers onboard new customer projects onto shared, documented templates.
What you will actually do
Power Platform & Dynamics 365 ALM
Design and maintain YAML pipelines for Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse and Power Platform solutions.
Automate solution export, unpacking, versioning, validation, packaging and deployment with Power Platform Build Tools and the Power Platform CLI.
Promote managed solutions across TEST, UAT and PROD on a build-once, deploy-many basis.
Configure environment-specific deployment settings, including environment variables and connection references.
Add quality gates: Solution Checker, approvals, deployment checks, smoke tests and release traceability.
Support solutions containing plug-ins, custom workflow assemblies, PCF controls, Power Automate flows and model-driven apps.
Contribute to deployment automation for PPAC-managed Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environments.
Azure DevOps & automation
Create modular YAML templates reusable across customers and projects, keeping templates, customer configuration and secrets clearly separated.
Configure repositories, branch policies, pull-request validation, artifacts, environments, approvals and service connections.
Implement secure authentication using workload identity federation or service principals.
Troubleshoot pipeline, authentication, permission and deployment failures.
Document onboarding, operational and recovery procedures.
Azure Infrastructure as Code
Design and maintain Bicep and/or Terraform, with reusable modules for common Azure resources and customer environments.
Build pipelines that validate, preview (Bicep what-if / Terraform plan) and deploy infrastructure changes.
Apply naming, tagging, security, identity and governance standards, and keep secrets out of source control.
Support controlled promotion of infrastructure changes across environments.
Azure engineering (depending on experience and project needs)
Configure App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
Implement managed identities and role-based access control.
Assist with monitoring, diagnostics and cost optimisation.
Investigate integration, networking, identity and deployment issues together with consultants and developers.
In your first months
Deliver a working Sales / Dataverse pipeline from source control to a non-production environment.
Turn it into reusable, documented templates with validation, approvals and security controls.
Build or improve an Azure Infrastructure as Code deployment pipeline.
Produce documentation that another engineer can operate and maintain.
What we are looking for
Hands-on experience building Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
Git, branching strategies and pull-request workflows.
Practical Power Platform, Dataverse or Dynamics 365 ALM experience, including deploying solutions between environments.
Real-project experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code technology, preferably Bicep or Terraform.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, service principals, managed identities, workload identity federation and RBAC.
PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting.
Ability to troubleshoot independently using pipeline logs, platform logs and Microsoft documentation.
Strong written and spoken English, and the ability to document technical solutions clearly.

Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service.
Dataverse plug-in and PCF build processes.
PPAC-managed Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations deployments.
Azure integration services: API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Functions.
Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
Automated testing for Power Platform or Azure deployments.
Experience at a Microsoft partner or across multiple customer tenants.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (for example AZ-400 or PL-400).
