Veterinary Technician

What You’ll Do
As a Veterinarian Technician, you’ll play an important role in providing safe, compassionate patient care and supporting the flow of our veterinary hospital. Your responsibilities may include:
Safely restraining patients using low-stress handling techniques
Triaging incoming veterinary patients and supporting efficient hospital flow
Collecting and processing laboratory samples
Obtaining accurate medical histories and maintaining patient records
Assisting with diagnostic imaging and processing radiographs
Providing nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients
Administering medications as directed by the veterinary team
Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with veterinary procedures
Monitoring patients during anesthesia and recovery
Communicating treatment plans and care instructions clearly with clients
Supporting veterinarians and other team members in delivering exceptional veterinary care
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced Veterinarian Technician who is compassionate, dependable, calm under pressure, and comfortable multitasking in a busy veterinary environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 1 year of veterinary experience preferred
Strong animal restraint and handling skills
Experience with laboratory sample collection, medical histories, and radiographs is a plus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A team-first attitude and willingness to support coworkers
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
A self-starter mindset and desire to continue advancing your veterinary knowledge and skills
The ability to remain calm and compassionate in urgent or stressful situations
