POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Master Bench Jeweler at Hamra Jewelers, you will play a vital role in preserving and creating world-class jewelry pieces. You will combine traditional hand craftsmanship with modern technologies to execute fine jewelry repairs, restorations, and custom creations. Working in close collaboration with our sales team, you will bring expert technical insight and an artist’s eye for detail to deliver an unparalleled experience for our clients.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Bench Excellence: Utilize a full range of bench tools and techniques—including expert soldering, polishing, stone setting, laser welding, and hand fabrication—to perform high-level repairs and custom work.
Team Collaboration: Partner closely with sales professionals to provide expert technical advice on repairs.
Quality & Timeliness: Ensure every piece meets Hamra Jewelers’ elevated standards of quality and excellence, completing work accurately and efficiently.
Bench & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workbench, taking pride in care for tools and shop equipment.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly observe all shop safety protocols.
Teamwork & Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive team atmosphere built on open communication, continuous learning, and a shared dedication to fine craftsmanship.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Experience & Expertise: Proven experience as a Bench Jeweler or Master Bench Jeweler working with high-end metals, fine gemstones, and complex settings.
Technical Skills: Mastery of bench techniques including stone setting, laser technology, metal finishing, and fabrication. CAD modeling experience is a plus, though not required.
Eye for Detail: Deep passion for fine jewelry repair and restoration paired with meticulous precision and accuracy.
