Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fabricator role located in Hyderabad. The Fabricator will interpret engineering drawings and specifications to cut, shape, assemble, and weld metal components. Daily responsibilities include operating fabrication equipment and tools, measuring and inspecting materials, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with supervisors and other team members to meet production schedules, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and reporting any equipment or material issues. The Fabricator may also assist with basic maintenance of tools and machinery and support continuous improvement initiatives in the workshop.
Qualifications
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Hands-on experience with cutting, bending, and assembling metal components using hand tools and fabrication machinery.
Knowledge of basic welding techniques and safe operation of welding and fabrication equipment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to measure accurately and maintain quality standards.
Understanding of workplace safety practices, including use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to address common fabrication issues.
Ability to work on-site in a workshop environment, stand for extended periods, and handle moderate physical tasks.
Prior experience in fabrication, metalworking, or related engineering roles is preferred.
Secondary school education or vocational training in fabrication, welding, or mechanical trades is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow supervisor instructions and production schedules.
