Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Montessori Teacher role based in Kasaragod. The Montessori Teacher will prepare and organize the classroom environment, develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, and guide children through self-directed learning using Montessori materials. Responsibilities include observing and documenting student progress, maintaining clear communication with families and colleagues, and supporting the emotional and social development of each child. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events, contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning community.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with a clear understanding of child development and learner-centered practices.
Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including the ability to design structured, engaging, and Montessori-aligned activities.
Candidates should possess clear and empathetic Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and staff members.
Candidates should possess Training experience or the ability to support and mentor learners in the Montessori environment.
Relevant Montessori certification or formal teacher training is highly beneficial.
Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom environment.
Strong organizational skills, patience, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
