Role Description The Management Information System Executive will support the design, maintenance, and improvement of MIS processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for decision-making. This part-time hybrid role is based in Ahmedabad, with a combination of on-site work and designated work-from-home days. Key responsibilities include collecting and validating data from multiple business functions, preparing regular and ad hoc MIS reports, and monitoring key performance indicators. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand information needs, streamline reporting formats, and recommend enhancements to information systems. The MIS Executive will also assist in documentation, data integrity checks, basic data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Welspun’s digital and analytical goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Information Systems and Management Information Systems (MIS) to manage and optimize reporting frameworks.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and MIS Reporting capabilities to interpret data, generate insights, and prepare accurate dashboards.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present information clearly and professionally.
Relevant experience with Excel, spreadsheets, and basic data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Attention to detail, ability to work with large data sets, and familiarity with ERP or database systems will be an advantage.
Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and meet reporting deadlines.
