Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Science role based in Bengaluru. The Data Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, clean, and analyze large data sets, build predictive and descriptive models, and translate findings into clear recommendations. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing experiments, applying statistical techniques, developing machine learning models, creating dashboards or reports, and validating model performance. The role also involves collaborating with engineering and product teams to deploy models into production, monitoring outcomes, and iterating on solutions. The ideal candidate will proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes and outcomes using data-driven approaches.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Data Science and Data Analytics skills, including experience with modeling, visualization, and data-driven decision-making.
Candidates should possess solid Data Analysis and Analytical Skills to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and deliver clear, actionable insights.
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, probability, and experimental design.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (such as Python or R) and familiarity with SQL and data manipulation tools.
Experience with machine learning frameworks, data visualization tools, and version control systems is beneficial.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive environment.
Experience in applying data science techniques to real-world business or product problems is a plus.
