Role Description This is a commission-based remote role for a Commercial Insurance Broker. This role is perfect for someone that wants to grow alongside a growing agency snd br compensated for it. The Commercial Insurance Broker will work directly with business clients to assess risk, recommend coverage options, and place commercial policies with suitable carriers. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and building a book of business, conducting coverage reviews, preparing proposals, and negotiating terms with underwriters. The role also involves ongoing account management, including policy renewals, coverage adjustments, and handling client inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The broker will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements, and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Brokerage and a solid understanding of commercial Insurance products and markets.
Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service, including clear communication, relationship-building, and responsiveness to client needs.
Candidates should possess skills in Underwriting fundamentals, such as risk assessment, policy structuring, and interpreting carrier guidelines.
Candidates should possess skills in Account Management, including managing renewals, handling policy changes, and maintaining accurate client records.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in commercial insurance, familiarity with multiple carriers, proficiency with insurance management software, and relevant state insurance licensing.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote environment, are highly valued.
