Vice President of Corporate Planning

Role Description The Vice President of Corporate Planning is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategic and financial plans. This position oversees corporate planning processes, including annual business planning cycles, multi-year financial forecasting, and performance monitoring across key business units. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends and business performance, identifying growth opportunities, and providing data-driven insights to senior leadership to support decision-making. The role also involves coordinating cross-functional planning initiatives, preparing executive presentations and reports, and ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, resource allocation, and financial targets. The Vice President will collaborate with finance, operations, and product teams to refine corporate strategies, optimize profitability, and strengthen overall organizational resilience.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in Business Planning, including leading corporate planning cycles, establishing KPIs, and driving integrated planning across functions.
Expertise in Financial Planning and Finance, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and evaluating investment opportunities.
Demonstrated experience in Strategic Planning, including developing long-term strategies, assessing competitive landscapes, and guiding organizational priorities.
Proven leadership experience in a senior planning or strategy role, preferably within insurance, financial services, or related industries.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Advanced proficiency with planning and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software, BI platforms) and comfort working with large data sets.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
