Role Description This is a flexible remote role for an Insurance Broker at Greatway Financial Inc. The Insurance Broker will consult with clients to assess their financial protection needs and recommend suitable life, illness and disability, mortgage protection, business insurance, and estate planning solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective and existing clients, explaining insurance products in clear, accessible language, and preparing tailored proposals and quotes. The role involves maintaining accurate records, submitting applications, following up on underwriting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Insurance Broker will also engage in ongoing training, participate in team meetings, and use digital tools to build and manage a client portfolio while contributing to Greatway’s culture of collaboration and community impact.
Qualifications
Strong client advisory skills, including needs-based analysis, relationship building, and clear, empathetic communication.
Experience or interest in life insurance and related products such as illness and disability coverage, mortgage protection, business insurance solutions, and estate planning.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and maintain organized client and policy records.
Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems for virtual client meetings, documentation, and ongoing client support.
Provincial life insurance licensing (or eligibility and willingness to obtain licensing) and commitment to continuing education and professional development.
High ethical standards, a client-first mindset, and alignment with Greatway’s philosophy.
