Job Description – HR Executive / HR Generalist- Urgent Hiring
Position: HR Executive / HR Generalist
Experience: 2–3 Years
Industry: IT / Technology
Location: Kolkata
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Work Mode: Hybrid – Work From Office on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday; Work From Home on Wednesday & Friday
Working Days: 5 Days – Monday to Friday

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and well-organized HR professional with 2–3 years of experience to manage day-to-day HR activities and end-to-end recruitment, with a strong focus on IT recruitment.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end IT recruitment, along with exposure to non-IT recruitment and basic HR operations.
The role requires excellent coordination, communication, and follow-up skills, as the candidate will work closely with employees, candidates, hiring managers, management, and the Director.
The ideal candidate should be hands-on, dependable, highly organized, and comfortable managing both recruitment and HR operations. Strong coordination skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the Director, employees, candidates, and internal stakeholders are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment – End-to-End
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from manpower requirement to candidate joining.
Handle end-to-end IT recruitment, including requirement understanding, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, candidate follow-ups, salary negotiation, offer coordination, and joining formalities.
IT recruitment experience is mandatory.
Handle non-IT recruitment as and when required.
Coordinate with hiring managers and the Director regarding manpower requirements and recruitment priorities.
Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other relevant recruitment channels.
Screen candidates based on job requirements and coordinate interview processes.
Maintain candidate pipelines, recruitment trackers, and hiring status reports.
Ensure timely communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
Coordinate pre-joining formalities and ensure a smooth candidate joining experience.
HR Operations & Payroll Support
Manage daily attendance and leave records.
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Support joining formalities, employee documentation, and exit formalities.
Assist in maintaining HR reports, trackers, and basic HR MIS.
Support the monthly payroll process by providing accurate attendance, leave, new joining, exit, salary revision, and other relevant employee data.
Coordinate with the Accounts/Payroll team for payroll-related inputs and queries.
Assist in resolving routine employee queries related to salary, attendance, leave, and payroll.
Maintain confidentiality of employee salary and payroll-related information.
Support the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and processes.
Employee Engagement & Coordination
Support employee engagement activities and initiatives.
Maintain regular communication and coordination with employees.
Coordinate with the Director on HR-related matters and follow up on assigned activities.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth execution of HR processes.
Assist in implementing HR policies, processes, and internal communications.
Support a positive and professional employee experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–3 years of relevant HR experience.
Mandatory: End-to-end IT Recruitment experience.
Exposure to non-IT recruitment.
Good understanding of basic HR operations.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Strong follow-up and stakeholder management skills.
Good organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR activities simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and basic HR tools.
Professional communication skills and a positive, employee-focused approach.
Working Hours
Total: 9 hours per day
Office: 4:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Work From Home: 12:00 AM – 3:00 AM
Total Working Hours: 8 hours
Break: 1 hour
Working Days: 5 Days- Monday to Friday
Saturday & Sunday: Weekly Off
Compensation
₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and suitability for the role.
