Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with over 6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and Python scripting for automation and integration tasks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and secure database applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using tools like SQL Trace, TKPROF, AWR, ASH, and Explain Plan.
Optimize database queries, indexes, and execution plans for high-volume transactional systems.
Develop Python scripts for automation, ETL processes, and integration with external systems.
Collaborate with application developers to ensure efficient database access patterns.
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for database development.
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues in production and non-production environments.
Work with DBAs to implement partitioning, indexing strategies, and database configuration changes.
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for database solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Strong expertise in SQL query optimization and PL/SQL performance tuning.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data processing.
Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture and execution plans.
Experience with AWR, ADDM, ASH reports, and other Oracle performance tools.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data migration techniques.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
