Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Third Party US Collection specialist. The role involves contacting customers in the United States to recover outstanding debts, following approved scripts and compliance guidelines. The specialist will negotiate payment arrangements, update account information, and record all interactions accurately in the system. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound collection calls, resolving customer queries, coordinating with internal finance or operations teams, and meeting individual and team collection targets. The role requires adherence to US collection regulations, maintaining professionalism on every call, and contributing to a respectful, performance-driven work environment.
Qualifications
Strong debt collection and cash collection skills, with the ability to negotiate and secure timely payments.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities for handling calls with US-based customers professionally.
Basic understanding of finance concepts related to billing, outstanding balances, and transaction records.
Prior experience in US third-party collections, BPO, or call center environments is preferred.
Proficiency in spoken and written English, including comfort with US accent and terminology.
Ability to work on-site in Gurugram in a target-driven environment and handle high call volumes.
Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and familiarity with CRM or collection software is beneficial.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, finance, or related fields is an advantage.
